The captivating entrepreneurial testimony of Yangming Zhang 

“My name is Yangming ZHANG, and I am an alumnus of SKEMA Business School, having graduated in the class of 2020 with a Master’s Degree in International Business. After completing my studies at SKEMA, I became involved in the construction of photovoltaic power stations in Ukraine and worked in marketing for a tourist destination project. I never let go of my entrepreneurial aspirations. 

After taking part in a community event in Chengdu, I discovered my passion and expertise in community development. Given the limitations on large-scale urban construction, the government actively encourages social participation in community renewal and development. In response, my team and I founded the “Minyue Community Service Center,” focusing on both spatial and operational management within the Kuanzhai Alley community in Chengdu. Acting as a liaison between the government, residents, businesses, and schools, we offer cultural services, employment guidance, and consultancy services. Concurrently, we initiated the “Niugungun” catering brand to explore community-based economic initiatives.

To date, we have organized a hundred events, drawing participants from various industries and age groups, including residents, institutions, and businesses, all contributing to community development. Through this ongoing process, individuals not only discover opportunities for personal growth but also actively engage in social responsibility and significance. Our collective objective is to integrate personal and national development, establishing a sustainable operational mechanism for community self-development, an objective that resonates with the entrepreneurial spirit instilled in us by SKEMA.
