For the first time in 17 years, two projects were declared the joint winners of Challenge Jeune Pousse on March 22. Both the winners… were projects of SKEMA students!
Challenge Jeune Pousse is an entrepreneurship contest organized by the Telecom Valley. With 160 companies representing 18,000 employees and 40,000 students, Telecom Valley is a key player in the Alpes-Maritimes ecosystem.
Isabelle Attali is the founder of the challenge. It has been designed as a way for students from different disciplines to get to know each other, work together on entrepreneurial projects, and meet professionals from Sophia Antipolis. Its goal is to foster horizontal and transdisciplinary communication.
Each year, many SKEMA students enter this entrepreneurship competition. In this edition, three out of the four projects selected for the final phase were by SKEMA students. These were:
- Digital Automatic Defibrillator, a miniaturized defibrillator presented by Valentine Cadet, Julian Furber and Arthur Masera (MSc International Marketing and Business Development)
- Sauce&Vous, the first Bar à Sauces in the world. It is being launched by SKEMA students Pierre Labroue and Hugo Teyssier (MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation)
- U-Go, an app which helps students to organize their stay abroad. This project has also been designed by students from the MSc International Marketing and Business Development (Claire Pricco, Clémentine Morateur, Thomas Soriano, Chloé Chuzeix-Mokrani, and Marina Taourirt)
Sauce&Vous and Digital Automatic Defibrillator were the joint winners of the contest.
These outstanding results by SKEMA students illustrate the entrepreneurial spirit of our school. Congratulations to both the teams!
