Innovation Grand Prix, one of the most anticipated entrepreneurship events in Paris, is back! Organized by Paris City Hall and Paris & Co, the event aims at encouraging, supporting and promoting young innovative companies, especially those involved in improving life in Paris and boosting the economy of the city.
This year, the event comprises five categories — Energy and mobility, E-health, Mobile and connected urban, Reinvented customer experience and Moonshot 2040 (category reserved for international startups). Each of these categories has a separate prize.
Eligibility and evaluation
Any independent legal entity that can submit a K-bis of less than 5 years as of December 11, 2018, and has its registered office or a secondary establishment generating employment located in Île-de-France, is eligible to apply. The company must officially exist by August 22, 2018, at the latest.
The evaluation of projects is based on:
- The innovative nature of the proposed technology or service.
- The economic viability of the project and its potential for job creation.
- The contribution of the project to Paris in terms of social, ecological and economic utility.
- The quality of the team.
Interested applicants can register for Innovation Grand Prix on the website www.grandsprixinnovation.paris. Winners in each category will receive €12,000 as an endowment fund.
