I joined SKEMA Business School in 2008. During my time there, I focused on learning about the international business scene. In 2009, I went to New York, U.S., to work in the field of fundraising and event organization. Then, I did an exchange program in North Carolina and finally landed in China in 2009. I got the opportunity to intern at different companies in Suzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing and landed my first job at altima° in Beijing in 2013. It was while working here when I conceptualized the idea of starting myCVfactory.
My advice
- Listen to your intuition. If you are convinced about your idea, go for it!
- Launch your product/service as soon as possible, even if it is not completely ready. This will allow you to refine your concept for a product that is 100% compatible with the needs of your customers.
- Surround yourself with people who motivate you. Network with entrepreneurs, read a lot and learn from others. These steps will help you avoid the pitfalls and save time for business development.
