The Petit Poucet contest, which aims at providing financial and technical support to young entrepreneurs, is back with its 19^th edition! Created in 2002, it is open to all students and young graduates, whether they are business professionals, engineers, doctoral students, design students, stylists, architects, or graphic designers. Since 2014, the contest has also been open to all holders of student entrepreneur status.

Each year, at the end of the call for applications, Petit Poucet selects 30 finalists who are invited to Paris to present their project in front of a jury composed exclusively of accomplished business leaders and former winners of the contest.

At the end of the pitches, the members of the jury deliver a personalized diagnosis to each project leader. This diagnosis is free, without commercial commitment, and takes place while respecting the confidentiality of the project.

Winners of the Petit Poucet contest benefit from tailor-made support dedicated to young business creators.

Prizes

The jury awards 10 prizes:

• Award of Excellence: 3,000 euros endowment and 3 months of support.
• Innovation Prize: 1,500 euros endowment and 2 months of support.
• Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award: 1,500 euros endowment and 2 months of support.
• IT price: 1,500 euros endowment and 2 months of support.
• Trends and Culture Prize: 1,500 euros endowment and 2 months of support.
• B-to-B price: 1,500 euros endowment and 2 months of support.
• Creators of the Future Prize: 1,500 euros endowment and 2 months of support.
• Tomorrow’s Builders Prize: 1,500 euros endowment and 2 months of support.
• Food Tech and Gastronomy Prize: 1,500 euros endowment and 2 months of support.
• Social and Solidarity Prize: 1,500 euros endowment and 2 months of support.

Important dates

• The last date to submit applications is December 15, 2020, until midnight
• Announcement of the 30 finalists will take place on January 7, 2021
• Pitches in front of the expert jury will take place from January 18 to January 22, 2021
• The announcement of the winners will take place on January 27, 2021
