Learn how to build a profitable business model

On April 19, as part of the “Win the Future” Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs, professor Philippe Chereau, director of SKEMA Ventures, will be delivering a talk online on “An entrepreneur’s guide to a successful business model experimentation”.

Summary

All entrepreneurs tend to wonder if the business model they are using is the right one or not. Seldom does a business model initially designed for the launch of the project help the company generate profits and boost growth. However, an iterative process of experimentation can help the startup to move from a hypothetical business model with uncertain sustainability to a viable and profitable business model built on the basis of field experimentation.

In this talk, professor Chereau will explain this in detail. It will be live streamed online and is open to everyone. The facilitator of the event will be Damien Huang, director of Suzhou Overseas (France) Incubation Center.

Entrepreneurship contest

This talk will also set the stage for the “Win the Future” Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs being organized by the Suzhou Municipal Government, of which SKEMA Business School is a co-organizer. The contest aims at helping talented entrepreneurs launch their startup in Suzhou, China, and strengthening the innovative interaction between China and France. Damien Huang will explain how entrepreneurs can benefit from launching their startup or business in Suzhou and benefit from this city’s strong entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Date: April 19

Time: 4pm to 5.30pm (France time).
