Live for Good is a community whose mission is to help young people from all walks of life discover their potential through social entrepreneurship and digital innovation. It comprises more than 300 young entrepreneurs who are driven by the desire to innovate in the service of humanity and the environment. Hailing from diverse backgrounds, all of them share the same dream: To change the world for the better. To enable young entrepreneurs to test, explore and launch their startup in a unique, innovative setting, it has launched the ‘Entrepreneur for Good Program’. It aims at allowing the youth, irrespective of their level of education or background, to unleash their potential. Those under 30 years of age who are working on a project which has a strong social impact or is related to an environmental cause are welcome to apply.
The program will be held in two stages. In the first stage, from the end of August to November, 50 participants will be given the opportunity to launch their startup through The Campus, Live for Good’s unique framework that has been created in partnership with CEDEP. This will include more than 100 hours of training, individual coaching for about 10 months, access to a network of experts, etc.
In the second stage, which starts in December, five winners will be announced who will receive the Gabriel Live for Good Award 2018. They will receive a financial scholarship of €10,000, a complete incubation program of 8 months that will include accommodation, training, monitoring, and so on, support from experts selected by Live for Good, and a unique learning expedition of 8 days in the Silicon Valley of Social Business in the Philippines, among other benefits.
