SKEMA Ventures Raleigh club is conducting a ‘Live Case Exercise’ workshop on October 22, 5pm, at SKEMA’s Raleigh campus with guest presenter and NC State alumnus Praneet Mocherla, founder of Vesta.
The workshop will contribute to assisting the local entrepreneurship community while enabling student entrepreneurs to hone their skills.
Vesta, an award-winning startup that is developing a way to “instantly” detect and suppress cooking fires to reduce property damages for multifamily housing companies, is now facing significant competitive challenges. At the workshop, it will seek insights and ideas from SKEMA Venture entrepreneurs on a strategy to achieve sustainable differentiation.
Students will be divided into different teams to develop and present their ideas directly to Vesta. Praneet Mocherla will then lead a discussion on the pros and cons of the ideas to determine the best action his company can take.
The team that provides the best solution will receive a prize.
Participants can buy pizzas at the workshop from a stall arranged by the SKEMA Ventures Raleigh club.
