To reward the most promising SKEMA Ventures-incubated projects based on innovation, societal and environmental impact, scalability, as well as the engagement of the project holders within The Venture Family, SKEMA Ventures Awards has been launched.

SKEMA Ventures team, SKEMA’s finance department, and the SKEMA Foundation management will evaluate the projects based on the following criteria:

– Market opportunities
– The value proposition to customers
– Business model and business plan
– Go-to-market strategy
– Team coherence

Conditions

SKEMA Ventures Awards are financial grants provided to a firm (through capital contribution or current account) or to project holder(s) to support activities related to prototyping, validation of ‘proof of concept’ (POC) or commercial development (prospecting, communication, direct marketing, promotion, etc.).

The jury will choose five projects for the award and allocate the prize money as follows:

First position: €6,000
Second position: €5,000
Third position: €4,000
Fourth position: €3,000
Fifth position: €2,000

Candidates for SKEMA Ventures Awards will have to provide proof (quote, budget proposal, and so on) of the present or future allocation of the award funds to the SKEMA Ventures team.

The evaluation will be conducted internally based on the criteria mentioned above and the engagement of the entrepreneurs within SKEMA Ventures (participation in internal and external entrepreneurship events, contests, and so on).
