Started by SKEMA alumni Alexandre Julienne, Maison Julienne recently launched a crowdfunding campaign to support the production of the first collection of its ethically manufactured products.
Consumers are increasingly seeking and are getting attracted to ethical and sustainable fashion. This is why it is becoming essential for companies to have a sustainable business model in terms of production, treatment of workers, service to consumers, and so on. Taking cognizance of this, Alexandre Julienne, a young entrepreneur who has recently completed his Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at SKEMA Business School, launched Maison Julienne, a brand of ethical fashion made in France, in September 2018.
Alexandre took the decision to launch his company during the last year of his studies at SKEMA.
His company Maison Julienne designs and produces jewelry with natural and responsibly-sourced materials. For example, its first collection of bracelets for men is made of PEFC- certified French oak tree wood and OEKO TEX-certified cotton. The packaging is made of biologic linen grown in France-certified GOTS and is sewn in an ESAT which provides work for people with disabilities. Maison Julienne’s mission is to create products of exceptional quality while being committed to local and solidarity economy and respect for the environment. The company will soon be expanding its range of products and offer clothes, accessories, and other articles.
Maison Julienne has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign to support the production of the first collection of its Made in France ethical bracelets for men. The campaign page contains all relevant information regarding the products, their fabrication and the development plan of the brand. By participating in the campaign, you will be able to purchase beautifully crafted bracelets (for Christmas!) and support the development of Maison Julienne, a company engaged in the development of the society and protection of the environment.
