The pivot, often a radical change in strategic positioning and/or business model, has become a reference and buzzword in the startup universe. Today, a young company’s path towards success or failure requires its projects to be reconfigured. Cycle Innovation and Connaissance SKEMA has organised a conference in Lille on January 18 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. where SKEMA professor Michel Bernasconi will present a theoretical reflection on this subject to enable entrepreneurs and startups to better understand the causes and the stakes. The event will also look at approaches that reduce the magnitude of pivots and better manage their consequences.
Participants can look forward to the testimony of Antoine Leclercq, founder and CEO of potion.social. Since the inception of his company, Antoine has made three strategic pivots that have allowed him to sustain it and raise funds for its development. He will talk about this in detail at the conference. SKEMA Professor Valérie Blanchot Courtois is the moderator. Though entry to the conference is free, registration is mandatory.
