La Tribune, the popular French financial newspaper, is conducting the seventh edition of the ‘10,000 Startups Pour Changer le Monde’ contest which aims at promoting innovative young companies from different regions in France. The event’s objective is to motivate and enable the companies to develop new technologies and services that would have a positive impact on the world.
The selection of projects from different regions will take place between January 23 and February 15, 2019. The voting for selecting the best projects will take place between February 18 and March 8, 2019, and the grand finale will take place in Paris on March 11. The project team which wins the contest will be featured in La Tribune and get to meet the editorial staff of the newspaper. It will also receive advertisement space of €50,000 in the newspaper and the digital platform of La Tribune and get to meet its partners and technology ecosystem.
The different categories in which one can take part are Environment and energy, Industry 4.0, Deep tech and data, Smart tech, Health, and Start. To be eligible to participate, participants must be entrepreneurs over 18 years of age and be the director of a company domiciled in France. Their company must have been in existence for at least one year, that is, it must have been created by August 31, 2017, except for the Start category. Also, the company must have achieved €100,000 in turnover, except for the Start category. The event is being conducted by La Tribune and BNP Paribas.
