1. Newsletter subscribers

The newsletter is issued by Innovation Department. This service involves the processing of your personal data. The purpose of the processing is to issue the SKEMA ventures newsletter, to manage subscribers, and to generate service-related statistics.
The following personal data is processed: your email address, the date you subscribed to the newsletter, and service-related statistics. Your data is only processed if you have subscribed to the Knowledge website newsletter. Your data will be retained until you unsubscribe (by clicking the unsubscribe link contained in the newsletters).

2. Personal data

When you use https://ventures.skema.edu website, we may collect the following data: the URLs of the links from which you accessed the https://ventures.skema.edu  website, your internet service provider, and your internet protocol (IP) address.
All data collected via forms on the website is stored in electronic files by SKEMA Business School. This data is intended for internal use and, where applicable, for the school’s subsidiaries and/or subcontractors. We will only transfer data to third parties for the purpose of responding to your enquiry, and will always do so in accordance with the purpose for which it was collected. Such third parties are bound by a confidentiality obligation and are only permitted to use your data in accordance with our contractual provisions and applicable legislation. 

All required information is marked with an asterisk. Other than in the cases mentioned above, we undertake never to sell, assign, transfer or allow third parties to access your data without your prior consent, except where have a legitimate reason to do so (to meet a legal or contractual obligation, to combat fraud or abuse, to defend ourselves against a legal claim, etc.). If we transfer your data outside the European Union, we will ensure that the country to which we are transferring it offers an adequate level of data protection.

The data controller is the Dean of SKEMA Business School.

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 and with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 or 27 April 2016 (entry into force on 25 May 2018), you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to receive your data in a portable format, and to restrict the processing of your data. You may also object to the processing of your personal data if you have legitimate reasons to do so. To exercise your rights, please contact the Legal Department at juridique@skema.edu, enclosing valid proof of ID with your request. 

If you do not or no longer wish us to contact you by phone, text message, post or email (to send you news, marketing messages and invitations), you may opt out from such communications at the point at which we collect your data, or you may contact us under the conditions mentioned above.
